Programme:
The event begins at 10:00 am on 23 May 2015. All delegations involved in the event will be picked up at their hotel and transferred to the sport centre (link of the hotel site http://www.hotelgranduca.com/ ). At the sport centre there will be national CSEN sport technicians of Paragility, representatives of institutions and volunteers of CSEN Provincial Committee of Grosseto.
A space dedicated to health care with an ambulance will be set up for all the time. Also, an automatic defibrillator and personnel authorized to use it will be available. After the greetings of CSEN Provincial Committee and of institutions’ representatives, the opening of the event will be announced. The start will be also marked by a symbolic gesture, the same as in all other Italian venues, as indicated by the CSEN National project office. Then, the national anthems of the participating delegations will be played.
After the presentation, the athletes will for the first time try and do Paragility with the help by the CSEN National sport instructors.
At around 1:00 pm delegations will be transferred to the hotel to have lunch and will be back to the sport centre at 3:00 pm. From 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm 15:00 a non-agonistic competition will be held with participation of athletes from abroad. By 8:00 pm all athletes will be already back to the hotel for dinner and the due rest after this day of sport.
For the sport organization and the success of the event, also associations specialized in Paragility located in other Provinces and Regions will be present. Besides Paragility, during the course of the event, technicians and athletes of associations affiliated to CSEN will entertain the public with exhibitions of activities with dogs: Agility Dog, Obedience, Pet Therapy and others, both sports and social ones.
The Arma dei Carabinieri (an Italian armed Force) is invited to participate with a demonstrating performance of its agonistic team.
A local television broadcasting company will be present all time through the event. A TV programme for presenting the initiative will be broadcast on 8th February 2015. Press will be present (3 newspapers, 2 of which with a national coverage, Il Tirreno and La nazione). A press conference with the Town council and the Province of Grosseto.
